Make a Difference Day. The University of Bolton Volunteers helping to recreate a pond which had become overgrown with trees and no longer held water.

Recreated Pond following the efforts of the University of Bolton, pond now used and visited by, Wildfowl, Amphibians and Dragonflies.

This pond had become overgrown with trees and scrub, loosing its aquatic value for amphibians and wildlife wishing to use the pond.

Pond 4 Pond Improvements.
Over 3 Task Days Local and GPAG Volunteers removed, trees, and excavated pond to hold water, Amphibians, Dragonfly and Waterfowl are already using this pond.

Pond 7 Tree Encroachment.
Pond was becoming shaded and overgrown by trees and loosing its aquatic value, GPAG and BCV volunteers removed trees from pond edges.
